Meteorites

Hi everyone,
I hope the hunting is good and your finds are piling up ! I have a lot of calls for help in ID'ing meteorites and to purchase them also. Let me say this, I like meteorites and hunting them but I am not an expert in identification of them. I leave this up to my onetime neighbor and school mate Robert Haag, he is called the Meteorite Man not to be confused with Meteorite Men. Actually I don't really collect them either. But lookup Meteorite Man on google and Robert's website can be found easily. Give him a call and go from there. But I do thank you for any calls for metal detectors to find meteorites.. Alright let's all go meteorite hunting and if you need a metal detector give me a call and good hunting all. Merry Christmas too !

Garrett AT Pro

Howdy all,
I just wanted to say I am sold out of the At Pro's at this time but I do have the Ace 350 package deal and Pro Pointers in stock. Christmas is marching in now and it won't be long in coming. I'm not sure when I will have more AT's in stock. I still can't believe all of the negative comments about it on another forum. I would like to spend a lot of time on the AT. So far I like it compared to other model's in the lineup. Ok I am out of here right now and will be back when I have something new. Be safe everyone and good hunting.

The Minelab Safari

Hi everyone,
I hope the weekend was good for all. I just wanted to comment on the Minelab Safari a bit. I have noticed on a lot of forums that a lot of detectorists are not too sure about the machine. It uses the same FBS platform as the Etrac. With the implementation of a new microprocessor it is not the ole Quattro anymore. The recovery speed is much better now and it is an enjoyable instrument to use. I see also that the finds made using the Safari are really good ones. It is like most any detector, once you invest the time to become one with the instrument, your on your way to some good metal detecting experiences. You have the simplicity combined with the power of an excellent detector. I use mine mostly in the relic mode using ferrous audio. As for pinpointing, I use the toe or front end of the DD coil to zero in on my prey. I also like the fact that there is a good selection of coils to be had. If weight is a factor then get a harness with a D ring and bungee it up. I just wanted to share my confidence in the Safari too get the good ones and deep also. Ok adios for now and be safe in the field.
